the beauer camper is a tiny can-shaped trailer that expands to twice its size

french camper manufacturer beauer has created an expandable trailer that doubles in size in just 60 seconds. once fully expanded the ?2x? model reveals its interiors that can accommodate two people.

like beauer?s other models the tiny camper uses a set of modules that nest together like cans and then expand horizontally to add more room. unlike the previous ?3X? model, which uses three modules, the 2X model only uses two. the semi-circlular shell design remains intact however.

when fully expanded the trailer doubles in size to provide just 90 square feet of living space. comprising two rooms, on one side is a bedroom or lounge area with a futon-style sofa that transforms into a double bed.

the other room features an L-shaped kitchen with sink, gas stove, fridge, grill or oven, and cabinets for storage. behind an accordion-style door there is a wet area with a bath with toilet, shower, and sink.

the camper weighs only 1,764 pounds, which means it can be towed by a wide range of vehicles without posing a problem. it is currently only available in europe with prices starting at $41,450. all of the exterior and interior colors can be customized.
