?Lego? style looks good on this Swedish bridge
Groovy The newly opened Lego-shaped ?Lego House? in Billund, Denmark, isn?t the only larger-than-life celebration of the iconic toy bricks lately. Behold, the Älvsborg Bridge in Gothenburg, Sweden, now held up by what appears to be pylons made of giant Legos.
Conceived by Madrid-based artist Christo Guelov, the ?Lego bridge? is part of the ?Let?s Color Gothenburg? initiative, which recruits unemployed local youths and trains them to become professional painters while completing public art projects around the city. The ?Lego?-style paint job on this 1960s-built suspension bridge is one of a dozen competition-winning projects.
