Hillside modern house is all concrete, glass, and views
Keep ?em coming On its own, concrete is a simple workhorse of a material. But in the hands of a skilled architect, it can be molded into art. We?ve seen this time and time again, and the latest example" An angular concrete house nestled into the hills of Chile, where it cuts a brilliantly modern silhouette.
Felipe Asandi Arquitectos designed the house with reinforced concrete slabs that together create a lengthy rectangular shape. The house?s basic building structure lends itself to striking moments of simplicity? a concrete overhang that creates a covered entryway; a balcony that stretches the length of the home; and best of all: a cantilevered swimming pool that juts out into the sparse nature.
Combined with the interior?s dedication to warm wood and natural tones, the home is a true embodiment of the phrase ?less is more.?
