H?ensko is a highly picturesque village and a municipality with almost 300 residents in the D??ín District of the Czech Republic. With an elevation of 115 meters above sea level, it is also the lowest municipality in the country. Nowadays, H?ensko Village mainly lives on tourism. It is famous for several natural landmarks such as the Kamenice Gorge (a rocky ravine through which the Kamenice River flows) and Prav?ická brána (the largest sandstone arch in Europe). The village lies in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains which constitute a characteristic feature of the settlement’s layout. There is also a rather fascinating stone building constructed in 1905. Called the Old Gasworks Restaurant & Guest House, this structure used to produce acetylene coal gas in the past.

There is also a chateau next to the sandstone archway, called the Falcon’s Nest. It was built in the Swiss chalet style in 1881 upon the order of Prince Edmund Clary-Aldringen. Nowadays, the structure functions as a restaurant as well as a photo gallery.
