Curated native landscaping, from a public garden fronting Canterbury Road to intimate terrace plantings, strengthens the fusion of the gardens with the built form and promotes a renewed sense of identity.

The architecture respects and communicates with the existing environment. The stepped architectural form follows the natural slope of the land, a robust frame provides a buffer to Canterbury Road and directs views towards the gardens, full-height glazing increases natural daylight and is angled to capture prevailing breezes for cross-ventilation, while the top utilises mesh screens to balance light, privacy and views.
Native landscaping and natural materials are integral to the connection to the surrounding gardens with the external finishes and interior spaces, provoking a sensory experience.
