Whenever we?re in need of some Airstream eye candy, Colorado-based Timeless Travel Trailers fits the bill; the company rescues vintage Airstreams and renovates them into sleek homes and offices on-the-go. We?ve reported on their gorgeous midcentury-inspired design in the past, and today we?re taking a look at a chic Airstream transformed with urban style in mind.
Called Loretta, the travel trailer is a 1989 37-foot Airstream Excella that needed to work for a New York City family of six. Although the clients wanted to use the trailer to vacation away from their urban hub, the family still wanted it to resemble their home in the city. This called for a modern, minimal aesthetic with simple and fresh interiors.
The renovation refreshed the trailer from top to bottom, updating the aluminum interior skin and adding engineered oak floors. The color scheme is all grays, whites, and blues, but pops of mustard yellow keep things interesting. Marble was key to achieving a high-end look, so Timeless Travel Trailers added a marble venee...
