Creative Interior Design in Scandinavian style in the heart of Istanbul
Our today’s chosen project is a unique home designed in Scandinavian style. Designed by the architectural studio ?COA Mimarlik?, this spacious, bright and modern apartment is full of youthful energy.The comfortable interior is situated in Istanbul and with its design and light colors immediately tickles interest.
The apartment is 80 m², including: 1 bedroom, 1 study room, kitchen, bathroom and a lounge. What makes this interior unique is the maximum utilization of the space to provide more places for storing items without making the home look jammed. The dominating colors of the interior is the white color and light, natural tones. The contrast of light is created with the large sofa colored in dark gray which gives the entire area an elegant note.
A wide centrally placed window is adding a light in the spacious living room which follows the dining room. The dining room consists of a long wooden table with different chairs which gives the apartment an eclectic look. The wall behind the dining table has an interesting installation shaped as a world map. The opposite wall, where the TV is placed, is surrounded by white shelves stacked like stairs.
The greatest architectural move, for us, is the decision to set up a small space for reading a good book or just relaxing by the window, offering a view of the city.
