Entrenched in an Atlantic Forest reserve in the coast of the state of São Paulo, the Tijucopava House welcomes the sea view and the surrounding landscape.
A prefabricated wooden structure (measuring 4.5 x 3.75 m), profiled by a glass frame, was attached to a concrete base that covers the garage and shapes the narrow pool on the upper plane.
In the upper floor, each module accommodates two suites facing the sea. Continuous roof lights provide natural light and ventilation.
In addition to being completely wall-less, the lower floor?s glass doors that limit the outdoors can be slid open completely, connecting the social space to a large terrace with a rather loose layout. The inside/outside integration is emphasized by a stone floor, which covers the entire first floor ? including the pool.
