Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a part of every project that shows how structural building and infrastructure systems are designed and built. But there is a reinforced concrete industry that is lagging behind structural steel and is trying to avoid the adoption of BIM. The reason for that is probably the high fragmented nature of its supply chain that requires different designers and suppliers that are involved till the final product.
The Autodesk users were asked what they want to see in a BIM- centric solution for concrete, and the answers sublimated  showed a variety of answers that differ drastically depending on someone?s role on a project. More, in the link bellow.
