Water Bridge that Carries a Cross Section of Water over the Roads
The navigable aqueducts are structures of a bridge caring a navigable waterway canals that goes over the other rivers, valleys, roads and other traffic paths. It seems as impossible project but the first canal like this was build in 1896 over the River Loire and was actually a 662-meter long steel Briare aqueduct. The showed Magdeburg Water Bridge in Germany has a total length 918 m (690m over land and 228 m over water) which is the the longest navigable aqueduct in the world.
The images bellow are showing several sequences of this impressive aqueduct in Germany that is connecting Mittellandkanal to the west and Elbe-Havel Canal to the east.
