Villa Nectar is a traditional Cycladic hotel combined with modern elements located in Cyclades, Jordan, designed by Georgia Nikolopoulou of Block722 Architects.
Description
When the owners purchased the house, it was for the view alone, not the interior design. They completely changed it with the help of they young, talented architect named Georgia Nikolopoulou who works with Block722.
They owners wanted something simple, with natural colors and a warm, calming aesthetic. The villa makes you feel relaxed and far away from everything.
While the villa has a very traditional Cycladic architecture, it has been combined with modern elements. And of course it is the view and the whole atmosphere that sets it apart. It?s also a bit of a hideaway ? aside from the house next door, it feels very isolated. There are views from every corner of the house and beautiful beaches within a few minutes’ drive. Villa Nectar is set across two levels, with the main door leading to the living and kitchen area, from where you immediately have incredible views. The living area has a built-in sofa but there is purposely not a lot of furniture, which adds to the villa?s relaxing feel. There is also a round table where you can eat inside if it?s windy outside and a fully-equipped kitchen designed with white and grey tones and natural elements.
