Utilitarian Goods from Japan, Reclaimed and Recycled Edition

Spotted recently at SCP and Goodhood, a couple of our favorite shops in London: utilitarian goods from Japanese brand Puebco, which was founded in 2007 with the noble intention of “creating what we want to create instinctively, without being aware of selling,” as they say. Many of the offerings (canvas totes and cots, surfboard covers, even toilet brushes) are made from recycled or reused materials. Here are some favorites from the line:
Above: The off white cotton canvas Nap Bench is 395 pounds from SCP in London.
Above: The Puebco Toilet Brush in copper; go to Puebco for ordering information.
Above: The Labour Canvas Tote Bag is $55.48 from Goodhood.
