UFO is a project connected with the Italian manufacturer of mini-yachts Jet Capsule. He offers a more stylish option to wait for the apocalypse – a stable and fully independent floating house. The concept of the house was not accidentally called UFO, which in English means “an unidentified flying object”. This structure really has the shape of a UFO, but only floats on the water, offering quite comfortable autonomous living.

According to the founders of the company, UFO is intended for “living in a house that is slowly moving around the world.” In other words, the house can “swim” with a top speed of 3.5 knots (or 6.5 km / h),  thanks to the Torqeedo Deep Blue 1800 hydro-reactive electric motor.

The structure of the floating house provides for the installation of an airborne water generator that will convert rain or sea water into fresh water. It will be suitable for drinking and cooking, as well as for watering the garden on the deck that surrounds the structure.

To ensure the stability of the floating house, the company used a special elastic anchor system. The basic design of the floating object is aligned to the compass and oriented in the right direction, even if a storm or storm has started in the open sea.
