Bullock Texas State History Museum

The massive singular bronze star provides a rather obvious clue to exactly where you are: Texas, of course! In particular Austin, the state capitol and in this case the Bullock Texas State History Museum.

The star is bronze, but the building?s dome and architectural roofs are certainly copper. If you?re standing in front of the museum, turn to the left to see the impressive Texas State Capitol building to the south. Pink granite and copper roofing on the museum provide a solid visual connection with the pink granite and arched copper roofing on the Capitol Building.
