The project involved the replacement of over 25,000-square-feet of diamond profile battens and copper pan roofing, replication of heritage copper and brass framed skylights, masonry restoration, and replacement of various decorative copper elements.
The roof renovation project was named ?The Fifth Façade,? since the roof is a very visible part of Toronto?s skyline from many of the neighboring buildings. This project is considered an investment in Toronto?s infrastructure that will promote transit-oriented growth in the long run.
