Top 5 Projects by the 2017 Pritzker Prize Winners

Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Ramon Vilalta from the Spanish studio RCR Arquitects are the 2017 laureates of architecture’s most prestigious award the Pritzker Prize.
The three Spanish architects are the 39th winners and will receive a $100,000 grant and bronze medallion at a ceremony held at the State Guest House in Tokyo on 20 May 2017.
Rcr Arquitectes founded their studio in 1988. It is based in Olot in Spain’s Catalonia Region.
This is the first time that three architects have been awarded the Pritzker Prize, and the second time the award has gone in  Spain ? the first being Rafael Moneo in 1996. Here are our Top Five chosen projects from the Catalonian trio:
