Located on Shobac Estate in Nova Scotia, Canada, this steel-clad cabin perches on a beachside cliff and combines the simplicity of farm life with modern flourishes. Enough House, as it?s called, sits comfortably amid 18th-century architecture, like the 1880-built octagonal Troop Barn and the Cheboque School House from 1830, and features a modern Corten steel exterior while its interiors are all warm wood beams and floors. The two-story house was designed by Brian MacKay-Lyons and accommodates up to five people on two queen beds and a single, and boasts a wood-burning furnace, large pasture-framing corner window, and another beach-facing one on the opposite side.
