amsterdam-based architecture studio thewaywebuild introduces its mobile ?forest cabin? retreat. the tiny dwelling is designed as a meditative space for quiet living within its natural context, sited at a campsite known as ?het bos roept!? within north holland?s robbenoordbos forest. characterized by its exposed structure, the project is expressive of poplar timber arches which generate an interior dome structure and offers a chapel-like atmosphere. the design team comments on the concept which initially drove its design strategy: ?escaping the constant bombardment of media updates, emails and phone calls, the forest cabin retreat allows guests to soothe stress and make them feel fresh to meditate in a peaceful environment.?
