These high-end purses double as home storage boxes
Add an insert and Le Pilage goes from purse to organizational tool The never-ending quest to declutter has given the world plenty of ways to spend money while keeping tidy. You can purchase boxes that cost more than some dressers or hire a consultant who will come to your house to help you tidy up.

Now you can add buying a purse to that list. French luxury leather goods maker Longchamp has been making its convertible Le Pilage purse for years, but its newest version?the Katachi collection?takes shape-shifting to a whole new level. Designed with the help of Japanese design house Nendo, the new Le Pilage doubles as a household storage container.

As Fast Company reports, the purse requires a simple change. Add an insert to the bottom and the floor becomes stiff enough to stash whatever it is people put in empty boxes. Remove the insert, and you?ve got a purse with leather handles. Nendo designed two other versions of Le Pilage?a foldable circle and triangle?but the cube is by far the most inspired.
