This floating, stone helical staircase is spectacular design that show-stoppers, focal point of the interior where is build, or any interior where this would be placed. The design was developed by Webb Yates Engineers and The Stonemasonry Company which won the Award for Small Projects at the Institution of Structural Engineers’ 2016 Structural Awards. Each step connecting the two-story building has 4.6-meter diameter of helical staircase and is composed of an individual block of stones.  The staircase is giving an impression of weightlessness and like the structure floats in the space. It circles its way up through the building’s atrium till the glazed roof above.
