The Most Impressive Water Bridge or Navigable Bridge over the Loire River
?he most popular aqueduct in Germany is Magdeburg. It is the longest, and is among the most impressive constructions in the world. Aqueducts originated from the 17th century, when they begin to appear as modern sewage systems. Over the Loire River was built a 662 – meter Canal lateral a la Loire in 1896 and became the longest navigable aqueduct in the world. That position was kept to the 21 st century, when the Magdeburg takes the title.
