The Home Spa Reimagined, from a Dutch-Finnish Designer
In the shopkeeper?s apartment at Egg, one of our favorite London shops, architect Jonathan Tuckey worked with Studio Anna van der Lei to install one of the designer?s Badbox bathtubs in the bathroom. The bathtubs are inspired by Van der Lei?s fascination for bathing and recalling her Dutch and Finnish background and cultural bathing experiences. Here?s a look at the bathtubs on offer.

Above: Badbox is not meant to be fixed in one location; it can move from indoors to outside to a balcony.
Above: The Badkast, an enclosed version, is, like the Badbox, handmade from a single larch tree from the Netherlands.
Above: ?All baths are treated with a colorless and odorless mineral oil allowing space for the aromas of the wood while taking a bath,? says Van der Lei.
