The First Printed House in Dubai
The first office building built completely with 3D printing, is not only made for 17 days but was officially opened in May in Dubai. This project in the Persian Gulf shows the importance of 3D printing technology in the rapid construction and reduce costs. Office building with a futuristic look is made of a special blend of cement using huge industrial 3D printer with a height of 6 meters, a length of 36 and width of 12 meters. The materials used for construction have passed quality controls in China and the UK. In the construction of the building worked 17 workers over a period of 17 days, which represents a saving of 50% only of manpower required compared to buildings of similar size built commercially.
