The project is situated less than 5km away from the rich bio-diversity of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, and within a park that has Tulsi Lake as the centre.

The landscape of the project has been designed to be like a park, with park like amenities incorporated, and access for bicycle and joggers throughout.

Hence,the notion of a park, within a park, within a park. The brief was to develop a residential neighborhood comprising of around 750 residential units with an equitable distribution of amenities amongst the dwellers.
Tata Housing ?Serein? is based on a high density format, and shuns the idea of a singularity in housing typologies opting instead for strategically evolved multiplicity. The towers of Tata Housing ‘Serein’ in Thane manifest the notion of a vertical neighborhood through its elevated social terraces extending from the central urban park.

The urban park connects all the towers at the base and also encompasses several amenities and landscaped areas, becoming an interactive platform for social engagement.

The towers have been aligned to maximize the ingress of breeze into the courtyard, and to shade the enclosed space at times of peak solar radiation. The...
