This contemporary three-bedroom home in the village of Bishopstrow in Wiltshire in South West England was designed by the late Michael Newberry, a renowned British architect who is credited with designing the country?s first glass-and-steel structure, called Panshanger, in 1958.
This 2006 version, which he also made for himself, comprises a single-story, flat-roofed steel structure that has been ?grit-blasted? and ?zinc-sprayed.? In effect one large space like Panshanger, the 1,784-square-foot residence is divided into three bedrooms and living areas by rendered partition walls.
