surrounded by preserved historic buildings and a beautiful green landscape, SN design architects? house incorporates a smooth transition from the city to the interior through an open, semi-outdoor area at the front. the 30-m-long gable roof roughly covers inside and outside areas, while it is supported by a wooden frame structure of one-by-two grids. a large opening on the part of the roof that covers the semi-outdoor area allows for a tree to grow through it, while it visually connects the house and the family living inside it with the city and its people, as well as with the surrounding landscape. interior spaces are characterized by muted tones and a minimal selection of materials with wood as the protagonist.
