Smart home tech: what?s on your wish list"

From home automation veterans like Savant and Control4 to tech world heavy weights like Amazon Echo and Apple Homekit to all sorts of specific innovations for every room (Bidets! Smart baby monitors! Wireless charging furniture!), the home tech scene is buzzier than it?s ever been.
And consumers are all ears. According to a recent survey of 1,250 U.S. adults by Coldwell Banker Real Estate, home tech is now a considerable consideration in home buying. Of those surveyed, 71 percent "want a move-in ready home" (nothing too surprising there.) But among those respondents, 44 percent said that "smart home technology should already be installed" and 57 percent "would consider an older home updated if it had smart home technology." These results suggest that smart home tech may no longer be a fancy perk for homes, but an expectation. Well, is that really the case"
