Located just outside of Denver, Tourig specializes in Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Metris conversions with a focus on modular, versatile designs that let you get outside and explore. In the past, they?ve worked on everything from a wheelchair accessible rig to a full-time home for a firefighter, and for this story we?re focused on a van called the Franchot.

Starting with a 2017 4x4 Sprinter 170, Tourig created a modern interior with plenty of amenities for on-the-go living. The side door reveals the kitchen area, complete with white upper storage cabinets, a custom wood countertop, and a sink. A round stowable table provides room for eating or working, while a fridge and a propane cooktop make cooking easy.
Birch-like flooring is easy to sweep out, and the swivel and bench seats are covered with a colorful custom upholstery. A bed that?s raised above a gear garage sleeps two comfortably, and black-out window covers provide privacy. On-demand hot water and a marine toilet give you the comforts of home, and LED lights keep things cheery.
