Russia’s first 3d printed house in just 24 hours
A house made with a 3D printer in Russia has marked new steps in the construction technique. The Moscow House was built in just 24 hours.
Although 3D printing hasn’t become normal in the construction, at least it is no longer science fiction dream. The first 3D printed office was opened last year in Dubai, and in Beijing one such house was built to withstand an earthquake of 8 degrees. In 2014 a company in Shanghai printed 10 houses in one day.
The company behind the project, Apis Cor, describes the project as – the first printed house with a mobile printer. Technology that works resembles a crane and is small enough for the house to be built from within, not from without more machine. The house is about 125 square meters and costs about $ 10,000 to build, including installation and insulation. Besides it is cheaper than many small houses, it is also very modern.
Samsung assisted with the project, so some internal appliances were supplied by them.
