Grafton Architects wins Royal Gold Medal for Architecture
RIBA Royal Gold Medal Week 2020
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) annual awards programme celebrates outstanding work in architecture.
The 2020 Royal Gold Medal events take place this week at the RIBA?s iconic London Headquarters.
Dublin-based practice Grafton Architects is the recipient of this distinguished Prize in recognition of a lifetime?s work, marked by a humble and humane approach to architecture. The Royal Gold Medal Lecture by Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara, co-founders of Grafton Architects, will take place on 12 February in the Jarvis Hall.
The talk will be followed by a student crit event and a celebratory dinner on 13 February in the Florence Hall.
The University of Engineering Campus (UTEC) in Lima, Peru, won the RIBA International Prize 2016:
