renzo piano has completed ?565 broome soho?, a luxury condominium building in new york. the project, which is piano?s first residential building in the city, contains a total of 115 units, ranging from studios to four-bedroom homes. the design comprises a pair of conjoined glass structures with curved corners, resulting in light-filled residences that offer encompassing views of the hudson river, one world trade center, and beyond. to achieve this, a ?low-iron? glass with crystal-like sheen and clarity was selected for the external façade.
