Pristine white house is wrapped in glass
So soothing You?ve got a couple options when you live in a glass house: Bare it all for your neighbors to see, or get yourself a fence. The Hofmann House in Valencia, Spain, takes the latter approach. Its nearly all-glass facade is hidden from the street thanks to an elegant barrier wall that feels like a natural extension of the home.

Fran Silvestre Arquitectos designed the transparent home for a family who wanted to take advantage of Valencia?s verdant landscape and distant ocean views. The almost eerily serene home is clean-lined and ultra modern, with sleek marble floors and pristine white walls that are interrupted only by long stretches of glass windows.

Like the firm?s other minimalist designs, the Hoffman House gleams like a freshly polished jewel box. It?s hard to imagine the place ever getting messy. Light streams in through the windows and is diffused by the white and marble, casting the home in a soft, warm light despite its hard angles.
You can marvel at Fran Silvestre?s other designs here.
