Pedestrian Tunnel Clad of 80 000 Blue Tiles
The Cuyperspassage is a passage reserved for bicycle and pedestrians, recently built by Benthem Crouwel, that just has been clad with white tiles on the walkers side. Artist Irma Boom imagined frescos representing maritime seanes where we can see several boats on water or simply by covering the bottom part of the wall. For that, 80 000 blue tiles were used.
