Passive House Benefits

This kind of house was first developed in Germany and shows a building system designed with a very well-insulation and virtually air-tight. Its primarily heat is achieved by passive solar gain and by internal gains as people, electrical equipment, etc. There are minimized energy loses and any remaining heat demand is provided from very small source. When the avoidance of heat is needed there are shading and window orientation involved. There is also provided a constant, balanced fresh air from energy recovery ventilator. This results with amazing system that saves up to 90% of space heating costs and provides great quality of indoor air.
