Passive Cooling Tricks Everyone Should Know
We all have troubles with the hot weather and the heat that comes into our homes in summer. SO, we manage it as we know and as we are inspired at the moment. But, there are some tricks for passive cooling that will help you survive the hot home:
close all the windows, curtains and blinds on your windows and doors. Make a border between the heat outside and the interior of your home.
If your home need at leas to crack a window it should be the one that is on the shade side of your house. (Every home at one moment in the day has two sides in shade). Create a cool area around your home by plants. Deciduous trees and shrubs in particular are best in this.
keep the direct sun lights away from your home and add or extend overhangs to shade any South or West facing windows.
Use a fan for faster cooling of the space.
Practice a cool foot bath…it’s amazing help!
