Opening of New Terminal at Zagreb Airport
Zagreb International Airport (MLZL) currently is in a large preparations for the opening of a new, super-modern passenger terminal which bears the name of the first Croatian president – Franjo Tudjman. The opening should take place towards the end of March, but the exact date is not yet confirmed.
The new terminal lays on 65,000 square meters, with a capacity of 5 million passengers in the first phase, and there are 8 jet-bridges: 2 for home and 6 for international traffic. The construction of the terminal began in 2013, now is in the testing phase, and there is ongoing training for the staff.
From MLZL they recommend that with the new terminal in their focus will be to provide exceptional experiences in traveling and the stay at the airport, due to the highest world standards for each passenger and customer service.
