Muji tiny house, clocking in at 98 square feet, to go on sale for $27K
The Muji Hut rolls out in the fall, but only in Japan Muji, the Japanese purveyor of minimalist objects for the home and office and a philosophy of moving toward a ?pleasant life and society,? continues to expand into the business of actually making homes available to its customers.
Not only did Muji debut three tiny house designs, it also offered prefab designs with the Vertical House geared toward city dwellers, and the larger Window House, which offered one lucky household to live in it for free.
Now, the popular lifestyle brand has unveiled the Muji Hut, a nine-square-meter (that?s less than 100 square feet) tiny house designed in the company?s signature minimalist aesthetic. It features a shed roof, deep porch, sliding glass windows, plywood interiors, and a ?Shou Sugi Ban? exterior (all the wood is sourced from Japan).
