This modern weekender by Gordon + Valich Architects would be the perfect get away. The house reminds me of a modern treehouse the way it is situated amongst all of those trees. The house is located in Palm Beach, a northern beachside suburb of Sydney. The wall of levered glad panels that can open and close is genius. They would be great helping with heating and cooling. I like the minimalist approach to the contraction of the house. The thin steel beams and braces make a wonderful frame work. The house is currently on the market and would be a stellar get away.
