Architect David Chipperfield built this penthouse with the design being heavily influenced by Mies van der Rohe?s Farnsworth House. You do get that Mies feel with all of the external walls being glass and the black tufted furniture. There is a very nice minimalism going on allowing The architecture to be seen clearly. The scale of the dinning table feels a little small to me, maybe by choice giving a larger volume to the room. With views like that I don’t know how much time I would spend indoors.
