Modern Industrial Mix in Italy

This modern industrial converted factory was a clever and successful project. Built in the late 1960s, it was abandoned until Austrian sculptor and architect Reinhold Traxl gave the structure a new life. I love that someone saw the potential for this place. I have always liked the juxtaposition of industrial being converted to living space. The raw surfaces found throughout create a blank canvas for furniture, design, and art. You do get a loft like feeling with the open continuous interiors. Bonus, if you are looking for a place to relax in Tuscany, Italy while on vacation, you can rent this place.
