ODDSSON is a modern hostel in Reykjavík Iceland. Oddsson has a killer style that boast some high end design. When I first saw all of the designer pieces in the hotel/hostel all I could think of was “people sitting and using all of this furniture” sometimes I can get a little uptight. I know all of this is made to use and enjoy so I think the concept makes this place that much more intriguing. I have to say that if I am ever around Reykjavík Iceland I would at least go in and have meal and enjoy the atmosphere. Lets not forget about the bathroom (last pic) not my usual color palette but this is pretty cool. “In a nutshell, the concept behind ODDSSON is contrast?taking different extremes and mixing them together. As weird as it sounds, one of our inspirations is the atmosphere of an airport: a space for diverse encounters where time seems to pass slowly.”
