Modern home looks like a Jenga tower planted with trees

Greenery inside and out Nestled among high-rise buildings, the Sky House is a little moment of quiet among the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Designed by MIA Design Studio, the single-family home is meant to be an oasis that brings nature into a decidedly unnatural setting.
The house rises into a white rectangular box punctured with terraces that jut out like Jenga pieces. Each of these extrusions contain lush vegetation, rendering the entire building into a giant potted plant of sorts.

Though the house is relatively compact, the architects strived to create an airy, open space by bringing the outside in. The interior is split into two halves, each which a tree growing through it. A central atrium uses interior windows to create sight lines through the house while a skylight above sends light all the way down to the main floor, where there is an open living, dining, and kitchen area, plus a fish pond.
