Modern Flamboyance Meets Curated NYC Charm Inside this Revamped 30?s Apartment
They say that if you find a home with good bones, then you can work miracles with it! Sometimes you need to look beyond the skin to realize the true potential of a house and that is just what David Davis and Brad Wilson did as they turned this old New York City apartment built in the 1930?s into a contemporary delight. The makeover feels all too organic and leaves us awe-struck with the effortless ease that the apartment exudes in its final form. The potential was always there with its location providing some of the most beautiful views of the iconic city and in its new avatar, the interior is just as exiting! Step inside and you are greeted by an open plan living area that is white and well-lit.

The living is filled with comfortable contemporary décor and sectionals in gray that anchor and define it. Lovely windows and doors with a dark, metallic frame connect this space with the spacious balcony outside while the dining area with its dashing Saarinen Tulip Table, striking bookshelf and smart lighting ends up stealing the show. In the kitchen it is more white that takes over as you have countertops and backsplashes in white marble along with white-lacquered cabinets that blend into the mostly monochromatic backdrop seamlessly.
