Moby, the multi-faceted DJ and entrepreneur, also happens to be an architecture connoisseur with an eclectic portfolio of homes that regularly make headlines. Now, the budding real estate mogul is at it again, as his gorgeous three-bedroom, three-bathroom midcentury home in Westchester just hit the market for $1.3M.
Designed by David Henken, an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, the 3,162-square-foot home was built in 1956 and is spread across two floors. Sitting secluded in the woods, the residence looks out onto a serene garden and features a gorgeous mahogany interior that marries the indoor space seamlessly with the natural world it occupies. ?Oddly, a lot of midcentury modern houses in Westchester are quite dark, and this house has big soaring panes of glass, so it?s really beautiful and bright,? says Moby, who was looking for a home close to where he grew up in Connecticut, and originally spotted the listing on Curbed.
