Miyahata Ruins Museum

The Japanese architecture studio Furuichi and Associates designed this wonderful museum located in the city of Fukushima. A symbol of the revival of the city after the terrible disaster of 2011, the Miyahata Ruins Museum brings together the remains of an ancient civilization of 4,500 years, and offers an elegant combination of concrete and wood, especially with a beautiful geometric roof structure.
