Minimal Black and White by Handelsmann + Khaw
This minimal black and white home by Handelsmann + Khaw is beautiful to look at. I believe that part of “pulling off” a home and interiors in a minimal approach like this, are the materials used. With the WOOLLAHRA HOUSE, Both the materials in the architecture and on the pieces that occupy the house make for a dramatic minimal display. I like the exposed cinder blocks on the interior of the house, they feel honest. With only one picture of the exterior of the house, it makes me want to see more, quite stunning if I don’t say so myself. The few additions of color are even somewhat subdued. The muted yellow plays well with black and white.
