Mid Century Remodel in Silverlake California
This mid century remodel in Silverlake California is a nice exercise in controlled restraint. Emily Farnham Architecture worked closely with their client on the Lucile House to create a minimal home that keep it sync with its mid century modern architecture. I love how the minimal and clean design allows each detail to be discovered.
“The Lucile House is a 1,380 sf mid-century remodel in the hills of Silverlake. Our client was residing in one of the coveted Bubeshko Apartments by Rudolph Schindler during the design process. Our design meetings were held at the dining room table, surrounded by Schindler’s unique details in every direction. Schindler fans will easily be able to spot his influence throughout the Lucile House.”
