Magical Abandoned Fishing Village Near Budapest
The Slovakian photographer Viktor Egyed accidentally found the abandoned fishing village of Sz ö Dliget, located three hours outside of Budapest, in Hungary. The village made a strong impression on him, so he returned there with his camera to capture the peaceful and disturbing atmosphere of this village. The fog, the colors and the trees give a sensation of emptiness, anxiety and beauty at the same time. The small houses placed on islands in the middle of the water seem taken from a fairy tale of another time.
