Lyft beats Uber in driver satisfaction, according to new survey
New survey of rideshare drivers delves into the economics of the industry According to a new survey compiling responses from more than 1,000 drivers for different transportation network companies, Lyft drivers are happier than Uber drivers.
Put together by Harry Campbell, The Rideshare Guy, who runs a blog and podcast about the industry, the survey, which asked readers to talk about their jobs and employers, looked at issues such as rider satisfaction and pay. The site claims it?s the largest-ever survey of industry workers.
Flexibility and pay, not surprisingly, were the two most important factors for the ridehailing workforce, which has varying levels of commitment to the job as a sole or main source of income. The survey looked at results from numerous companies, especially the big two, Uber and Lyft, and provides interesting insight into the composition of the ridehailing workforce and the differences between operators.
