Leave a Penny, Take a Penny

Can you believe it" I am up for an award for "Best Blogger - Architecture" ... I know you probably don't care but I do. As a result, I need a little help from my friends (and I do consider you my friend)
Have you ever gone to a store and noticed a small tray or dish next to the cash register where people can leave their pennies or other change if they don’t want them" This tray is generally put in place so that other customers can take a penny should they want to avoid breaking a larger denomination coin or bill … or to help architectural associates make up the difference between what they owe and what they can pay.Today’s post is the equivalent of that … except that in this scenario, you are the dish and I would like to take a penny.For the second year in a row, Life of an Architect has been nominated in the ‘Best Blogger – Architecture‘ category. I didn’t win it last year [sad trombone] but I put the fault for that squarely at my own feet … there was some good competition but I didn’t really tell anyone that I had been nominated. It’s difficult to stand on the hill waving your own flag (or tooting your own horn" … maybe I’ve mixed up my metaphors) while asking for the help of others but since this is a recognition that I would very much like to receive, I’m hoping that you will be willing to help me out.The process for this award is simple enough – you cl...
